Habits of the Heart Bible Study
Habits of the Heart Bible study is a ministry to women at ZF and the surrounding community. We meet at Zionsville Fellowship Church on Wednesday mornings from 9:15-11:15 AM and in the evenings from 7:00-8:15 PM.
Our study of the Book of Exodus will begin on September 9, 2026, and will end in late March.
Knowing the Exodus story helps us grasp the purpose and way of salvation. When the New Testament announces the gospel of salvation in Christ, it does so with borrowed language. Jesus and our salvation arrive clothed in the promises and patterns of the Old Testament. The Exodus becomes the primary illustration of salvation in the biblical narrative. It gives us the categories and language to understand who Jesus is and what He did for us.
Infant and toddler care will be offered for the morning session, as well as a preschool bible class. There is also a Bible class for elementary-aged children attending with their mothers or grandmothers. Space is limited for all the children’s programming. The children will study Exodus in a format specifically designed for them. Our time together includes live teaching, singing, and intergenerational small-group discussions.
